तं भीमरूपं तवरितं दरवन्तं; दुर्यॊधनं शत्रुसहॊ निषङ्गी पराक्ष्वेडयद यॊद्धुमनाः किरीटी; बाणेन विद्धं रुधिरं वमन्तम ॥ ४-६०-१५ ॥
'Seeing Duryodhana, fearsome in form and rushing forward like a charging foe, the hero of the Kuru army, with wrathful intent, struck him with a well-aimed arrow that pierced the chest and made the blood gush forth.' ॥ 4-60-15 ॥

taM bhImarUpaM tavaritaM daravantaM; duryòdhanaM zatrusahò niSaGgI parAkSveDayada yòddhumanAH kirITI; bANena viddhaM rudhiraM vamantama ॥ 4-60-15 ॥
