तरस्ताश च रथिनः सर्वे बभूवुस तत्र सर्वशः सर्वे शान्ति परा भूत्वा सवचित्तानि न लेभिरे संग्रामविमुखाः सर्वे यॊधास ते हतचेतसः ।। ४-५८-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'All the chariot-warriors there were seized with terror. Fully subdued, they could no longer focus on the fight; all the warriors, hearts struck with fear, turned away from the battlefield.' ।। 4-58-12 ।।

english translation

tarastAza ca rathinaH sarve babhUvusa tatra sarvazaH sarve zAnti parA bhUtvA savacittAni na lebhire saMgrAmavimukhAH sarve yòdhAsa te hatacetasaH || 4-58-12 ||
