ततॊ दरौणिर महावीर्यः पार्थस्य विचरिष्यतः विवरं सूक्ष्मम आलॊक्य जयां चिच्छेद कषुरेण ह तद अस्यापूजयन देवाः कर्म दृष्ट्वाति मानुषम ।। ४-५४-६ ।।

sanskrit

'As the son of Pritha moved about the battlefield, the powerful son of Drona, seizing a narrow opening, cut the string of the Gandiva with a razor-edged arrow. Beholding that feat—beyond the skill of men—the gods themselves applauded him, exclaiming, ‘Well done! Well done!'' ।। 4-54-6 ।।

tatò darauNira mahAvIryaH pArthasya vicariSyataH vivaraM sUkSmama Alòkya jayAM ciccheda kaSureNa ha tada asyApUjayana devAH karma dRSTvAti mAnuSama || 4-54-6 ||
