'Regaining his position, Gautama swiftly pierced Savyasachin with ten arrows tipped with feathers of the Kanka bird.' ॥ 4-52-11 ॥

ततः पार्थॊ धनुस तस्य भल्लेन निशितेन च चिच्छेदैकेन भूयश च हस्ताच चापम अथाहरत ॥ ४-५२-१२ ॥
'Then, with a keen-edged crescent-shaped arrow, Partha severed Kripa’s bow and leather armguards.' ॥ 4-52-12 ॥
