स शरैर अर्पितः करुद्धः शितैर अग्निशिखॊपमैः तूर्णं शरसहस्रेण पार्थम अप्रतिमौजसम अर्पयित्वा महात्मानं ननाद समरे कृपः ।। ४-५२-७ ।।

'Severely struck by these flaming arrows, Kripa grew furious and, in turn, unleashed a fierce barrage of ten thousand shafts upon the high-souled Partha, raising a thunderous roar across the battlefield.' ।। 4-52-7 ।।
