कमण्डलुर धवजे यस्य शातकुम्भमयः शुभः आचार्य एष वै दरॊणः सर्वशस्त्रभृतां वरः ॥ ४-५०-६ ॥

sanskrit

'The warrior whose flag bears the emblem of a graceful golden water-pot is the venerable preceptor Drona, foremost among all wielders of weapons.' ॥ 4-50-6 ॥

english translation

kamaNDalura dhavaje yasya zAtakumbhamayaH zubhaH AcArya eSa vai daròNaH sarvazastrabhRtAM varaH ॥ 4-50-6 ॥
