'Aswatthaman said, ‘O bull among men, your just observations need not be voiced before us. Yet the preceptor, filled with wrath, has spoken of Arjuna’s virtues. Even the virtues of an enemy should be acknowledged, while the faults of one’s own preceptor may be exposed. Thus, to the best of one’s ability, the merits of a son or disciple should be declared.’' ।। 4-46-12 ।।
यथा दुर्यॊधने ऽयत्ते नागः सपृशति सैनिकान साहसद यदि वा मॊहात तथा नीतिर विधीयताम ।। ४-४६-१५ ।।
'Let arrangements be made so that Partha (Arjuna) cannot reach Duryodhana in battle. Likewise, ensure that King Duryodhana is not captured by the foe, whether through rashness or lack of judgment.' ।। 4-46-15 ।।
