आच्छिन्ने गॊधने ऽसमाकम अपि देवेन वर्जिणा यमेन वापि संग्रामे कॊ हास्तिनपुरं वरजेत ॥ ४-४२-१८ ॥
'If, for the cattle we have seized, a clash arises even against the divine wielder of the thunderbolt or against Yama himself, who among us shall return safely to Hastinapura? ' ॥ 4-42-18 ॥
english translation
Acchinne gòdhane 'samAkama api devena varjiNA yamena vApi saMgrAme kò hAstinapuraM varajeta ॥ 4-42-18 ॥
