न चौष्ठौ निर्भुजेज जातु न च वाक्यं समाक्षिपेत सदा कषुतं च वातं च षठीवनं चाचरेच छनैः ॥ ४-४-२८ ॥
'One should never bite the lips, nor should one interrupt speech/conversation. One should always suppress hunger, wind (flatulence), and spitting, doing so gradually/gently.' ॥ 4-4-28 ॥
