[उत्तर] सुवर्णविकृतानीमान्य आयुधानि महात्मनाम रुचिराणि परकाशन्ते पार्थानाम आशु कारिणाम ।। ४-३९-१ ।।

'Uttara said: "Indeed, these weapons adorned with gold, belonging to the swift-handed and high-souled Parthas, shine with great beauty."' ।। 4-39-1 ।।

कव नु सविद अर्जुनः पार्थः पौरव्यॊ वा युधिष्ठिरः नकुलः सहदेवश च भीमसेनश च पाण्डवः ।। ४-३९-२ ।।

'But where now is that Arjuna, the son of Pritha? Where is Yudhishthira of the Kuru race, and Nakula, and Sahadeva, and Bhimasena—the sons of Pandu?' ।। 4-39-2 ।।

kava nu savida arjunaH pArthaH pauravyò vA yudhiSThiraH nakulaH sahadevaza ca bhImasenaza ca pANDavaH || 4-39-2 ||

  सर्व एव महात्मानः सर्वामित्र विनाशनाः राज्यम अक्षैः पराकीर्य न शरूयन्ते कदा चन ।। ४-३९-३ ।।

'Having lost their kingdom at dice, those mighty Pandavas, capable of vanquishing all foes, are no longer heard of.' ।। 4-39-3 ।।

[अर्ज] अहम अस्म्य अर्जुनः पार्थः सभास्तारॊ युधिष्ठिरः बल्लवॊ भीमसेनस तु पितुस ते रसपाचकः ।। ४-३९-५ ।।

'Arjuna said: “I am Arjuna, also called Partha. The attendant in thy father’s court is none other than Yudhishthira. Vallava, thy father’s cook, is Bhimasena."' ।। 4-39-5 ।।
