मध्यंम आमिष गृध्राणां कुरूणाम आततायिनाम नेष्यामि तवां महाबाहॊ पृथिव्याम अपि युध्यताम ।। ४-३६-१९ ।।

sanskrit

'Certainly, O mighty-armed one, I will take you straight into the midst of the Kuru host, who stand ready to fight for the cattle, as hawks swoop upon flesh. I would do this, even if I believed they had come here to wage war for no less a prize than the sovereignty of the entire earth.' ।। 4-36-19 ।।

english translation

madhyaMma AmiSa gRdhrANAM kurUNAma AtatAyinAma neSyAmi tavAM mahAbAhò pRthivyAma api yudhyatAma || 4-36-19 ||
