सॊ ऽहम एकॊ बहून बालः कृतास्त्रान अकृतश्रमः परतियॊद्धुं न शक्यामि निवर्तस्व बृहन नडे ।। ४-३६-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'There are no troops to support me. I am alone—and but a mere boy, untrained and inexperienced in the art of arms. How can I face this countless host of seasoned warriors, all skilled in weapons? Therefore, O Vrihannala, turn back! Do not advance any further!' ।। 4-36-16 ।।

sò 'hama ekò bahUna bAlaH kRtAstrAna akRtazramaH paratiyòddhuM na zakyAmi nivartasva bRhana naDe || 4-36-16 ||
