'Do thou therefore, O Vrihannala, hold the reins of my steeds — even as thou once did — for I am eager to fight the Kurus and reclaim my stolen kine.' ।। 4-35-12 ।।

गीतं वा यदि वा नृत्तं वादित्रं वा पृथग्विधम तत करिष्यामि भद्रं ते सारथ्यं तु कुतॊ मयि ।। ४-३५-१५ ।।
'If it be music, or song, or the play of instruments, I shall delight thee. But what skill have I in managing horses on the field of war?' ।। 4-35-15 ।।
