सा सारथ्यं मम भरातुः कुरु साधु बृहन्नडे पुरा दूरतरं गावॊ हरियन्ते कुरुभिर हि नः ।। ४-३५-६ ।।
'Therefore, O Vrihannala, I beseech you—be the charioteer of my brother. By now, our cattle have surely been driven far away by the Kurus.' ।। 4-35-6 ।।
'Thus addressed by his friend of graceful hips, that oppressor of foes, possessed of immeasurable prowess, went into the presence of the prince.' ।। 4-35-8 ।।
'And like a she-elephant hastening after her calf, the large-eyed princess followed that hero who moved with the speed and majesty of an elephant in rut.' ।। 4-35-9 ।।
'Beholding him from afar, the prince exclaimed, "With thee as his charioteer, Dhananjaya, the son of Kunti, had gratified Agni in the Khandava forest and brought the whole world under his sway!"' ।। 4-35-10 ।।
