ततॊ युधिष्ठिरॊ मत्स्यं पुनर एवाभ्यभाषत परतिनन्दामि ते वाक्यं मनॊ जञं मत्स्यभाषसे ॥ ४-३२-४६ ॥
'Yudhishthira again addressed the king of the Matsyas, saying, ‘We are truly pleased with the gracious words you have spoken. May happiness always attend you, and may you ever act with compassion towards all beings.' ॥ 4-32-46 ॥

आनृशंस्य परॊ नित्यं सुसुखः सततं भव गच्छन्तु दूतास तवरितं नगरं तव पार्थिव सुहृदां परियम आख्यातुं घॊषयन्तु च ते जयम ॥ ४-३२-४७ ॥
'Now, at your command, let messengers swiftly go forth to the city to inform our friends of this joyous news and to proclaim your victory.' ॥ 4-32-47 ॥

ततस तद वचनान मत्स्यॊ दूतान राजा समादिशत आचक्षध्वं पुरं गत्वा संग्रामे विजयं मम ॥ ४-३२-४८ ॥
'Hearing these words, King Matsya ordered his messengers, saying, “Go swiftly to the city and proclaim my victory in battle."' ॥ 4-32-48 ॥

कुमाराः समलं कृत्यपर्यागच्छन्तु मे पुरात वादित्राणि च सर्वाणि गणिकाश च सवलं कृताः ॥ ४-३२-४९ ॥
'Let maidens and courtesans adorned with ornaments come forth, accompanied by every kind of musical instrument.' ॥ 4-32-49 ॥

ते गत्वा केवलां रात्रिम अथ सूर्यॊदयं परति विराटस्य पुराभ्याशे दूता जयम अघॊषयन ॥ ४-३२-५० ॥
'Upon receiving this command from the lord of the Matsyas, the messengers respectfully placed the royal order upon their heads and departed with joyful hearts. And arriving in the city that very night, they announced the king’s triumph at sunrise from the city gates.' ॥ 4-32-50 ॥
