चरन स विविधान मार्गान रथेषु रथयूथपः तरिगर्तानां सुशर्माणम आर्च्छद रुक्मरथं रणे ॥ ४-३१-१८ ॥
'Upon the battlefield, he displayed masterful skill, executing swift and varied manoeuvres upon his chariot with the prowess of a seasoned hero. And at last the king came upon the ruler of the Trigartas mounted on a golden chariot.' ॥ 4-31-18 ॥

carana sa vividhAna mArgAna ratheSu rathayUthapaH tarigartAnAM suzarmANama Arcchada rukmarathaM raNe ॥ 4-31-18 ॥
