कौरवैः सह संगम्य तरिगर्तैश च विशां पते गास तस्यापहरामाशु सह सर्वैः सुसंहताः ॥ ४-२९-११ ॥
'Let the forces of the Kauravas and the Trigartas unite, O King, and together we shall raid his herds in vast numbers.' ॥ 4-29-11 ॥
english translation
संधिं वा तेन कृत्वा तु निबध्नीमॊ ऽसय पौरुषम हत्वा चास्य चमूं कृत्स्नां वशम अन्वानयामहे ॥ ४-२९-१२ ॥
'Or, uniting our forces firmly, we shall subdue his strength and compel him to seek peace. And if he resists, then by destroying his entire army, we shall bring the Matsya kingdom under our dominion.' ॥ 4-29-12 ॥

तं वशे नयायतः कृत्वा सुखं वत्स्यामहे वयम भवतॊ बलवृद्धिश च भविष्यति न संशयः ॥ ४-२९-१३ ॥
'Once he is brought into submission—whether by force or diplomacy—we shall rule our own realms in peace, and your power, O king, will undoubtedly grow all the more.' ॥ 4-29-13 ॥

तच छरुत्वा वचनं तस्य कर्णॊ राजानम अब्रवीत सूक्तं सुशर्मणा वाक्यं पराप्तकालं हितं च नः ॥ ४-२९-१४ ॥
'Hearing these words of Susarman, Karna addressed the king, saying, 'Susarman hath spoken well; the speech is timely and beneficial to us.' ॥ 4-29-14 ॥

तस्मात कषिप्रं विनिर्यामॊ यॊजयित्वा वरूथिनीम विभज्य चाप्य अनीकानि यथा वा मन्यसे ऽनघ ॥ ४-२९-१५ ॥
'Therefore, if it pleases thee, O sinless one, let us at once set out, arraying our forces in proper divisions.' ॥ 4-29-15 ॥
