तस्माद यत्नात परतीक्षन्ते कालस्यॊदयम आगतम न हि ते नाशम ऋच्छेयुर इति पश्याम्य अहं धिया ॥ ४-२६-६ ॥
'It is for this very purpose that they wait patiently, watching for the right opportunity. Men such as these do not perish. This is the conclusion I arrive at through reason and discernment. Therefore, act swiftly and without delay—do what must now be done, but only after careful and thoughtful reflection.' ॥ 4-26-6 ॥

tasmAda yatnAta paratIkSante kAlasyòdayama Agatama na hi te nAzama Rccheyura iti pazyAmya ahaM dhiyA ॥ 4-26-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसांप्रतं चैव यत कार्यं तच च कषिप्रम अकालिकम करियतां साधु संचिन्त्य वासश चैषां परचिन्त्यताम ॥ ४-२६-७ ॥
'And let us also now consider the place where the sons of Pṛithā—whose souls are disciplined in every aspect of life—might be residing.' ॥ 4-26-7 ॥

sAMprataM caiva yata kAryaM taca ca kaSiprama akAlikama kariyatAM sAdhu saMcintya vAsaza caiSAM paracintyatAma ॥ 4-26-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयथावत पाण्डुपुत्राणां सर्वार्थेषु धृतात्मनाम दुर्ज्ञेयाः खलु शूरास ते अपापास तपसा वृताः ॥ ४-२६-८ ॥
'Heroic and sinless, endowed with ascetic merit, the Pāṇḍavas are exceedingly difficult to detect during their period of concealment.' ॥ 4-26-8 ॥

yathAvata pANDuputrANAM sarvArtheSu dhRtAtmanAma durjJeyAH khalu zUrAsa te apApAsa tapasA vRtAH ॥ 4-26-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशुद्धात्मा गुणवान पार्थः सत्यवान नीतिमाञ शुचिः तेजॊराशिर असंख्येयॊ गृह्णीयाद अपि चक्षुर ई ॥ ४-२६-९ ॥
'Wise and virtuous, devoted to truth, and well-versed in the principles of policy, they are pure in conduct and rich in spiritual merit. The son of Pṛithā—Yudhishṭhira—is a reservoir of immeasurable energy, and with but a glance, he is capable of striking down his foes.' ॥ 4-26-9 ॥

zuddhAtmA guNavAna pArthaH satyavAna nItimAJa zuciH tejòrAzira asaMkhyeyò gRhNIyAda api cakSura I ॥ 4-26-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविज्ञाय करियतां तस्माद भूयश च मृगयामहे बराह्मणैश चारकैः सिद्धैर ये चान्ये तद्विदॊ जनाः ॥ ४-२६-१० ॥
'Knowing all this, act in accordance with what is fitting. Let us once again pursue the search—sending Brahmins, wandering minstrels (Chāraṇas), perfected ascetics, and others of similar kind who may have knowledge of these noble heroes.' ॥ 4-26-10 ॥
