[वै] कीचकस्य तु घातेन सानुजस्य विशां पते अत्याहितं चिन्तयित्वा वयस्मयन्त पृथग्जनाः ।। ४-२४-१ ।।

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana said: “At the death of Kichaka and his brothers, the people, O king, were struck with astonishment, marvelling at the enormity of the deed."' ।। 4-24-1 ।।

english translation

[vai] kIcakasya tu ghAtena sAnujasya vizAM pate atyAhitaM cintayitvA vayasmayanta pRthagjanAH || 4-24-1 ||
