पञ्चाधिकं शतं तच च निहतं तत्र भारत महावनम इव छिन्नं शिश्ये विगलितद्रुमम ॥ ४-२२-२८ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued: “Thus, O Bharata, were the hundred and five Kichakas slain. Their corpses lay strewn upon the earth, as if a mighty forest had been shattered by a tempest, its trees uprooted and fallen."' ॥ 4-22-28 ॥

paJcAdhikaM zataM taca ca nihataM tatra bhArata mahAvanama iva chinnaM zizye vigalitadrumama ॥ 4-22-28 ॥
