धर्मे सथितास्मि सततं कुलशीलसमन्विता नेच्छामि कं चिद वध्यन्तं तेन जीवसि कीचक ॥ ४-२०-२३ ॥
'Of noble lineage and virtuous disposition, I have always remained firm in righteousness. I do not desire the death of anyone — it is only for this reason, O Kichaka, that you still live.' ॥ 4-20-23 ॥
english translation
dharme sathitAsmi satataM kulazIlasamanvitA necchAmi kaM cida vadhyantaM tena jIvasi kIcaka ॥ 4-20-23 ॥
