युधिष्ठिरस्य गेहे ऽसमि दरौपद्याः परिचारिका उषितास्मीति वक्ष्यामि पृष्टॊ राज्ञा च भारत ॥ ४-२-२६ ॥
'And if the king were to ask, I shall say that I was a waiting maid to Draupadi in Yudhishthira’s palace.' ॥ 4-2-26 ॥
english translation
yudhiSThirasya gehe 'sami daraupadyAH paricArikA uSitAsmIti vakSyAmi pRSTò rAjJA ca bhArata ॥ 4-2-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएतेन विधिना छन्नः कृतकेन यथा नलः विहरिष्यामि राजेन्द्र विराट भवने सुखम ॥ ४-२-२७ ॥
'In this way, O foremost of kings, hiding myself as fire is hidden beneath ashes, I shall spend my days at ease in the palace of King Virata.' ॥ 4-2-27 ॥
english translation
etena vidhinA channaH kRtakena yathA nalaH vihariSyAmi rAjendra virATa bhavane sukhama ॥ 4-2-27 ॥
