यस्या मम मुखप्रेक्षा यूयम इन्द्रसमाः सदा सा परेक्षे मुखम अन्यासाम अवराणां वरा सती ॥ ४-१९-१८ ॥
'I, therefore, deem this downfall of yours to be one that no foresight could have prevented. Alas! She who was served by you all—heroes equal to Indra—she, ever chaste and exalted, must now serve those far beneath her in rank.' ॥ 4-19-18 ॥
