'[Vaiśampāyana said:] Thus did the Sūta’s son grasp her by the right arm. She, violently shaken by his grip, flung Kīcaka to the ground. Then Draupadī fled for refuge to the court, where King Yudhiṣṭhira was seated.' ।। 4-15-6 ।।
'And while she was fleeing at full speed, Kīcaka chased her down, seized her by the hair, and flung her to the ground. Then, in full view of the king, he struck her with his foot.' ।। 4-15-7 ।।
