अथाब्रवीद राजपुत्रीं कौरव्यॊ महिषीं परियाम गच्छ सैरन्ध्रि मात्रस्थाः सुदेष्णाया निवेशनम ॥ ४-१५-३१ ॥
'And then that bull among the Kurus addressed the princess, his beloved wife, saying: “Remain not here, O Sairindhri. Withdraw to the inner chambers of Sudeshna."' ॥ 4-15-31 ॥
english translation
भर्तारम अनुरुध्यन्त्यः कलिश्यन्ते वीर पत्नयः शुश्रूषया कलिश्यमानाः पतिलॊकं जयन्त्य उत ॥ ४-१५-३२ ॥
'The wives of noble heroes endure hardships for the sake of their husbands. In serving them with devotion, through sorrow and trial, they ultimately attain the same high realm that their lords shall reach.' ॥ 4-15-32 ॥

मन्ये न कालं करॊधस्य पश्यन्ति पतयस तव तेन तवां नाभिधावन्ति गन्धर्वाः सूर्यवर्चसः ॥ ४-१५-३३ ॥
'Thy Gandharva husbands, radiant as the sun, do not, I suppose, see this as the right time to reveal their wrath— for they do not rush to defend thee.' ॥ 4-15-33 ॥

अकालज्ञासि सैरन्ध्रि शैलूषीव विधावसि विघ्नं करॊषि मत्स्यानां दीव्यतां राजसंसदि गच्छ सैरन्ध्रि गन्धर्वाः करिष्यन्ति तव परियम ॥ ४-१५-३४ ॥
'O Sairindhri, thou knowest not the proper time for things. That is why thou weepest like an actress, disturbing the royal game of dice in the court of the Matsyas. Withdraw, O Sairindhri. Thy Gandharva husbands will surely act in accordance with thy wishes. They will avenge thy suffering and take the life of the one who has wronged thee.' ॥ 4-15-34 ॥

[दरौ] अतीव तेषां घृणिनाम अर्थे ऽहं धर्मचारिणी तस्य तस्येह ते वध्या येषां जयेष्ठॊ ऽकषदेविता ॥ ४-१५-३५ ॥
'Hearing these words, Sairindhri replied: “Those to whom I am wedded are, I believe, exceedingly gentle in nature. And since the eldest among them is addicted to dice, they are often subjected to humiliation and oppression.”' ॥ 4-15-35 ॥
