'Vaisampayana continued: And having said this, the fair-hipped Krishna, her hair dishevelled and her eyes red with anger, rushed toward the chambers of Sudeshna. Her face—bathed in tears—shone with a sorrowful beauty, like the moon emerging from behind dark clouds.' ।। 4-15-36 ।।
'Draupadi replied: "As I went to fetch wine for thee, Kichaka struck me down in the royal court—right before the king—just as one might assault a helpless woman in a lonely forest."' ।। 4-15-39 ।।
'Sudeshna said: "O thou with tresses ending in lovely curls, if it be thy wish, I shall have Kichaka slain. He, maddened by desire, has dared to insult thee—one whom he can never possess."' ।। 4-15-40 ।।
