स वै हयान ऐक्षत तांस ततस ततः; समीक्षमाणं च ददर्श मत्स्यराज ततॊ ऽबरवीत तान अनुगान अमित्रहा; कुतॊ ऽयम आयाति नरामर परभः ॥ ४-११-२ ॥
'He began inspecting the horses one by one. Observing this, the king of the Matsyas said to his attendants, ‘I wonder who this man is and whence he comes, for he shines with the radiance of a celestial being.’' ॥ 4-11-2 ॥
