'Then, after a moment, the illustrious Kesava, having taken hold of the excellent chariot, addressed Yudhishthira, the son of Kunti, saying:' ।। 2-42-57 ।।
'O king of kings, nurture your subjects with unwavering vigilance and patience. Just as the clouds sustain all creatures, and the great tree provides shelter to birds, be a refuge and support to your relatives, like the thousand-eyed Indra is to the immortals.' ।। 2-42-58 ।।
'And, O king, after the chief of the Satwata race had departed for Dwaraka, King Duryodhana alone, accompanied by Shakuni, the son of Suvala, remained in the celestial assembly hall. These two, the foremost among men, continued to reside there.' ।। 2-42-60 ।।
