[ध] कथं गच्छति कौन्तेयॊ धर्मराजॊ युधिष्ठिरः भीमसेनः सव्यसाची माद्रीपुत्रौ च ताव उभौ ॥ २-७१-१ ॥
'Vaisampayana said: “As soon as Vidura, endowed with great foresight, arrived, King Dhritarashtra, the son of Amvika, timidly asked his brother: ‘How is Yudhishthira, the son of Dharma, faring? And Arjuna? How are the twin sons of Madri doing?' ॥ 2-71-1 ॥

धौम्यश चैव कथं कषत्तर दरौपदी वा तपस्विनी शरॊतुम इच्छाम्य अहं सर्वं तेषाम अङ्गविचेष्टितम ॥ २-७१-२ ॥
'How is Dhaumya, and the illustrious Draupadi? I wish to hear everything, O Kshatta. Please describe all their activities to me.' ॥ 2-71-2 ॥

[वि] वस्त्रेण संवृत्य मुखं कुन्तीपुत्रॊ युधिष्ठिरः बाहू विशालौ कृत्वा तु भीमॊ गच्छति पाण्डवः ॥ २-७१-३ ॥
'Vidura replied: "Yudhishthira, the son of Kunti, has departed, covering his face with his cloth. As for Bhima, O king, he has left, gazing at his own mighty arms."' ॥ 2-71-3 ॥
english translation
सिकता वपन सव्यसाची राजानम अनुगच्छति माद्रीपुत्रः सहदेवॊ मुखम आलिप्य गच्छति ॥ २-७१-४ ॥
'Jishnu (Arjuna) has departed, following the king while spreading grains of sand around. Sahadeva, the son of Madri, has also left, with his face smeared.' ॥ 2-71-4 ॥

पांसूपलिप्त सर्वाङ्गॊ नकुलश चित्तविह्वलः दर्शनीयतमॊ लॊके राजानम अनुगच्छति ॥ २-७१-५ ॥
'And Nakula, the most handsome of men, O king, has departed, his body stained with dust and his heart deeply afflicted.' ॥ 2-71-5 ॥
