उच्चान्निवृत्ते त्ववरोहिसंज्ञा क्रमात् क्षयं यान्ति दशाफलानि। आरोहिणी स्वेच्चमुखाभिलाषे क्रमेण सर्वं फलमातनोति॥६॥
When a planet leaves off his exaltation, its Dasa is termed at and its effects gradually fail to give fruit. A planet on its way to its exaltation is termed ringo and its effects begin to ripen fully.

तुङ्गसुहृत्स्वगृहांशे नीचे रिपुभेऽस्तसंस्थिते वाऽपि। तस्य दशा मिश्रफला दशा परार्द्धे शुभप्रदा ज्ञेया॥७॥
In the case of a planet whether exalted, in a friend's Rasi or Amsa, in depression, in an inimical sign, or in an eclipsed state, the effects of the Dasa will only be mixed. At the latter half of the Dasa, it will prove auspicious.

सविता दशाफलानां प्रापयिता चन्द्रमाः प्रबोधयिता। आदित्यचन्द्रवशगाः सर्वे ताराग्रहा ज्ञेयाः॥८॥
It is the Sun that promotes the effects of the Dasas to happen and it is the Moon that gives life and revives the same. All the planets are under the influence of the two luminaries and are termed (only) starry in their influence.

चन्द्रावनेयसोमजभृगुसुतगुरुसूर्यमन्दानाम्। क्रमशो दशापरिग्रह इष्टा नैसर्गिकी शुभा प्रोक्ता॥९॥
The Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, the Sun and Saturn in their order claim their Dasa periods in the Nisarga System and prove auspicious in their (respective) turns.

कष्टगृहे कष्टांशे मूढेऽपि निसर्गसंस्थिताः शुभदाः। शस्तगृहे शस्तांशे निसर्गयोगास्तु राज्यफलदाः स्युः॥१०॥
A planet miserably placed in a Rasi or Amsa or even eclipsed will prove benefic in giving effects if it happens to be his Dasa under the Naisargika system. If he should also occupy an auspicious Rasi or Amsa, the yoga will confer on the person concerned wealth and even kingdom.
