तुङ्गसुहृत्स्वगृहांशे नीचे रिपुभेऽस्तसंस्थिते वाऽपि। तस्य दशा मिश्रफला दशा परार्द्धे शुभप्रदा ज्ञेया॥७॥

In the case of a planet whether exalted, in a friend's Rasi or Amsa, in depression, in an inimical sign, or in an eclipsed state, the effects of the Dasa will only be mixed. At the latter half of the Dasa, it will prove auspicious.

tuGgasuhRtsvagRhAMze nIce ripubhe'stasaMsthite vA'pi। tasya dazA mizraphalA dazA parArddhe zubhapradA jJeyA॥7॥
