सविता दशाफलानां प्रापयिता चन्द्रमाः प्रबोधयिता। आदित्यचन्द्रवशगाः सर्वे ताराग्रहा ज्ञेयाः॥८॥

It is the Sun that promotes the effects of the Dasas to happen and it is the Moon that gives life and revives the same. All the planets are under the influence of the two luminaries and are termed (only) starry in their influence.

english translation

savitA dazAphalAnAM prApayitA candramAH prabodhayitA। AdityacandravazagAH sarve tArAgrahA jJeyAH॥8॥
