अर्केन्दुभूमिपुत्रैः केन्द्रगतैर्भाग्यभे व्यये वाऽपि। जलयोग इति ख्यातो नान्यग्रहमिश्रितैस्तु बलहीनैः॥१॥
If the Sun, the Moon and Mars, all weak, occupy together Kendra, the 9th or even the 12th house and be not conjoined with any other planets, the famous Jalayoga is formed.

प्रकृतिजडोऽल्पमनीषो ज्ञानधनैश्वर्यवर्जितश्चफलः। स्तब्धः परान्नकाङ्क्षी जलयोगे जायते मनोदुःखी॥२॥
The man born in a जल Yoga will by nature be stupid, insignificant, and devoid of intelligence; he will have no money and be without any wealth whatever. He will be fickle-minded, and stubborn, desiring to take his meals at others' table. He will ever be melancholy.

भाग्याधिपे व्ययस्ये व्ययेश्वरे वित्तगे बलक्षीणे। विक्रमसंख्यैः पापैर्योगः केमद्रुमो ज्ञेयः॥३॥
If the lord of the 9th house be in the 12th, the lord of the 12th weak and in the 2nd, and the three malefics occupy the 3rd, the resulting Yoga is known as Kemadruma.

परदाररतो नित्यं परान्नकाङ्क्षी कुधर्मकर्मरतः। बहुऋणभागी पुरुषो जातः केमद्रुमे भवेद्योगे॥४॥
The man born in a Kemadruma Yoga will always go to other people's wives, will desire to eat at others' table, will engage himself in doing vicious acts, and will incur many debts.

सप्ताष्टमगैः पापैर्लग्नेशे नीचगे तदंशे वा। गुलिकोदयवेलायां जातः कुलनाशको न सन्देहः॥५॥
