चरराश्यंशके भानौ चराश्यंशकोदये। शिशोः पितान्यदेशस्थः सूतौ लग्नं न पश्यति॥११॥
When both the Sun and the Lagna occupy a moveable sign and a moveable Amsa, the father of the child will be in a foreign place, provided the Sun does not aspect the Lagna.

लग्नं न पश्यति विधौ चरराश्यंशके स्थिते। परोक्षगः पिता तस्य सूतिकाले न संशयः॥१२॥
When the Moon occupying a moveable Rasi and Amsa does not aspect the Lagna, the father is undoubtedly in a distant place at the time of birth of the child.

वागीशे नीचसंस्थे च चन्द्रे राश्यंशसन्धिगे। मूको वाऽपि जडोवाऽपि सौम्यैः पापसमन्वितैः॥१३॥
When Jupiter is posited in his debilitation sign, the Moon is at the junction of two Rasis or two Amsas, and the benefics are conjoined with malefics, the child born will be dumb or imbecile.

भाग्यबन्धुगताः पापाः लग्नेशे बलवर्जिते। जन्मकाले पिता रोगी कुजदृष्टेऽथवा युते॥१४॥
When the lord of the Lagna is weak and aspected by or conjoined with Mars, and malefics occupy the 4th and 9th houses, the father is bedridden at the time of the birth.

अर्काशकस्थिते मन्देऽप्यर्केणैव निरीक्षिते। सूतिकाले पिता दुःखी शिशो रिःफाष्टमेऽपि वा॥१५॥
When Saturn occupying a Navamsa of the Sun is also aspected by him or is posited in the 8th or the 12th Bhava, the child's father will be miserable at the time of birth.
