विषघटिकायां जातो निधने क्रुरे विषाग्निशस्त्रैर्वा। निधनेशे विषभागे क्रूरयुते तन्निमित्तदोषेण॥३६॥
If a person has his birth at a विषघटीकाल , and the 8th house be occupied by a malefic planet, the person concerned will die through poison, fire or a weapon. If the lord of the 8th house be in a विषभाग , and also be conjoined with a malefic, death will be due to that cause.

भौमार्कजौ यदि परस्परमंशयातौ क्षेत्रेऽथवा निधनभागयुते च केन्द्रे। तस्यावसानसमये क्षितिपालकोपा- च्छूलादिकायुधकृतं निधनं समेति॥३७॥
If, at a person’s birth, Mars and Saturn occupy Navamsas or Rasis owned by each other and are in Kendra positions, as well as in fateful degrees, the person will at his end incur the displeasure of the sovereign and suffer death by being impaled at the stake or by some other instrument of execution.

लग्ने शशी दिनकरे विबलेऽष्टमस्थे लग्नव्यये सुरगुरौ सुखगे च पापे। जातस्य हस्तनयनच्युतिदोषमृत्युः शस्त्रेण वा निशि निषादकृतेन वा स्यात्॥३८॥
With the Moon in the Lagna, the Sun weak in strength in the 8th house, Jupiter in the 12th and a malefic posited in the 4th, the person born will meet with his death by being deprived of his hands and eyes or through weapons or by a base-minded outcast at night.

निधने कुजे बुधे वा लग्नेशे सौम्यमे तदंशे वा। दंशकसरीसृपाद्यैर्मरणं नृृणां समादिशेत्प्राज्ञः॥३९॥
When Mars or Mercury occupy the 8th house, and the lord of the Lagna is posited in a benefic house or Amsa, the person concerned will, it is declared, meet with his end through flies, venomous reptiles and the like.

यदि बहुलग्रहयुक्ते हिबुके लग्नेश्वरेऽष्टमेशयुते। बहुजनमरणावसरे निधनं जातस्य निश्चितं ब्रूयात्॥४०॥
If the 4th house be occupied by many planets, and the lord of the Lagna be conjoined with the lord of the 8th, the death of the person concerned will happen at a time when many others also have their exit from the world, and this will be a certainty.
