(अथ केमद्रुमयोगस्तत्फलं च) ऐते योगा न स्युः केन्द्रे ग्रहवर्जिते शशाङ्काद्वा। केमद्रुमाख्ययोगस्तस्मिन् जातो नृपोऽपि भिक्षाशी॥८॥
These Yogas will not operate, should the Moon not occupy a Kendra (or when there are no planets in any of the Kendra houses reckoned from the Moon). Then, the Yoga termed Kemadruma sets in, the effects of which will be that even a king born under it becomes a beggar (a seeker of alms).
english translation
(atha kemadrumayogastatphalaM ca) aite yogA na syuH kendre grahavarjite zazAGkAdvA। kemadrumAkhyayogastasmin jAto nRpo'pi bhikSAzI॥8॥
