पक्वेऽष्टापदवद्भिन्ने तीक्ष्णोष्णैः प्रतिसारणम् । वृषनिम्बपटोलाद्यैस्तिक्तैः कवलधारणम् ॥ ५२ ॥

That which is ripe and divided into parts like the eight-legged stool, should be rubbed with the paste of herbs of penetrating and hot properties. vṛṣa – Decoction of Adhatoda vasica­, nimba – Azadirachta indica, paṭolādyai: – Trichosanthes dioica and other bitter herbs should be used for gargling the mouth.
