द्विक्षारधूमकवरापञ्चपटुव्योषवेल्लगिरितार्क्ष्यैः । गोमूत्रेण विपक्वा गलामयघ्नी रसक्रिया एषा ॥१०१॥

dvikṣāra – The two kshara -Yavakshara alkali prepared of Hordeum vulgareordeum vulgare, Sarjika Kshara, dhūmaka – soot of kitchen, vara- Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – Vibhitaki – Terminalia bellerica – Amalaki – Emblica officinalis, Panchapatu (five salts- Saindhava Lavana – Rock salt Souvarchala Lavana – Sochal salt or black salt Bida / Vida Lavana – A type of black salt / Sodium sulphate Samurda Lavana – Common salt (Sodium Chloride) Romaka / Sambhara Lavana – Earthen salt.), Vyosha- – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum and – Ginger – Zingiber officinale, vella – Embelia ribes, giri tārkṣyaiḥ – emerald are cooked in cow urine and rasakriya (solid decoction) prepared. This cures diseases of the throat.

गोमूत्रक्वथनविलीनविग्रहाणां पथ्यानां जलमिशिकुष्ठभावितानाम्। अत्तारं नरमणवोऽपि वक्त्ररोगाः श्रोतारं नृपमिव न स्पृशन्त्यनर्थाः॥१०२॥

When pathyā (Haritaki – Terminalia chebula) are boiled in cow urine until they completely lose their shape (become dissolved/minced), and with this thick liquid, the powder of jala – Vetiveria zizanioides / Nymphaea stellata, miśi – Peucedanum graveolens, and kuṣṭha – Saussurea lappa are macerated (bhāvitānām): the person who consumes even an atom (aṇu) of this medicine will not be troubled by diseases of the mouth (vaktra-rogāḥ), just as bad/useless things do not touch a king who listens to wise counsel.

सप्तच्छदोशीरपटोलमुस्तहरीतकीतिक्तकरोहिणीभिः। यष्ट्याह्वराजद्रुमचन्दनैश्च क्वाथं पिबेत्पाकहरं मुखस्य॥१०३॥

Decoction prepared from saptacchada – Alstonia scholaris, uśīra – Vetiveria zizanioides, paṭola – Trichosanthes dioica, musta – Cyperus rotundus, harītakī – Terminalia chebula, tiktakarohiṇī – Picrorhiza kurroa, yaṣṭyāhva – Glycyrrhiza glabra, rājadruma – Cassia fistula, and candana – Santalum album should be consumed to cure Mukhapāka (stomatitis/oral ulcers).

पटोलशुण्ठीत्रिफलाविशालात्रायन्तितिक्ताद्विनिशामृतानाम्। पीतः कषायो मधुना निहन्ति मुखे स्थितश्चास्यगदानशेषान्॥१०४॥

Decoction of paṭola – Trichosanthes dioica, śuṇṭhī – Zingiber officinale, triphalā (Haritaki, Vibhitaki, Amalaki), viśālā – Citrullus colocynthis / Alstonia scholaris, trāyantī – Gentiana kurroo, tiktā – Picrorhiza kurroa / Swertia chirata, the two niśā (Haridra – Curcuma longa and Daruharidra – Berberis aristata), and amṛtā – Tinospora cordifolia, when drunk or held in the mouth (mukhe sthitaḥ) mixed with honey, cures all diseases of the mouth completely (āsya-gadān aśeṣān).

स्वरसः क्वथितो दार्व्या घनीभूतः सगैरिकः। आस्यस्थः समधुर्वक्त्रपाकनाडीव्रणापहः॥१०५॥

Juice (svarasa) of dārvī – Berberis aristata boiled and condensed (ghanībhūtaḥ), mixed with gairika – red ochre and honey (samadhuḥ), held in the mouth (āsyasthaḥ), cures Mukhapāka (oral ulcers), Nāḍīvraṇa (sinus/fistula of the mouth), and Vraṇa (wounds).
