सन्निपातज्वरौ घोरौ ताव् असह्यतमौ मतौ । तत्राभिचारिकैर्मन्त्रैर्हूयमानस्य तप्यते ॥ ४४ ॥

the two fevers due to curse (by divine beings etc.) and witchcraft (sorcery) are caused by the aggravation of all the Doshas, are considered to be grave and highly unbearable in fever caused by sorcery.

sannipAtajvarau ghorau tAv asahyatamau matau । tatrAbhicArikairmantrairhUyamAnasya tapyate ॥ 44 ॥
