शस्त्राद्यैरभिघातेन क्षते वापथ्यकारिणः । क्षतोष्मा वायुविक्षिप्तः सरक्तं पित्तमीरयन् ॥ ११ ॥

pittAsRglakSaNaM kuryAdvidradhiM bhUryupadravam । teSUpadravabhedazca smRto'dhiSThAnabhedataH ॥ 12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनाभ्यां हिध्मा भवेद्बस्तौ मूत्रं कृच्छ्रेण पूति च । श्वासो यकृति रोधस्तु प्लीह्न्युच्छ्वासस्य तृट् पुनः ॥ १३ ॥
These manifest as: hiccup (hidhma) if the abscess is near the umbilicus (nabhi); difficult and foul-smelling urine if the abscess is in the bladder (basti); dyspnea (shwasa) if it is in the liver (yakrit); obstruction to expiration/breathing out if it is in the spleen (pliha); and thirst (trit) if it is in the kloma.

nAbhyAM hidhmA bhavedbastau mUtraM kRcchreNa pUti ca । zvAso yakRti rodhastu plIhnyucchvAsasya tRT punaH ॥ 13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगलग्रहश्च क्लोम्नि स्यात्सर्वाङ्गप्रग्रहो हृदि । प्रमोदस्तमकः कासो हृदये घट्टनं व्यथा ॥ १४ ॥
An obstruction of the throat (galagraha) occurs if the abscess is in the kloma; catching pain or rigidity all over the body (sarvanga-pragraha), profound delusion (pramoha), darkness/unconsciousness (tamaka), cough (kasa), and a feeling of friction and pain in the heart manifest if the abscess is in the heart (hridaya).

Pain in the abdomen, flanks, and shoulders, along with a gurgling noise (aatopa) in the abdomen, appear if the abscess is in the upper abdomen (kukshi); stiffness of the thighs (sakthnoh-graho) occurs if it is in the groins (vankshana);
