कुक्षिपार्श्वान्तरांसार्तिः कुक्षावाटोपजन्म च । सक्थ्नोर्ग्रहो वङ्क्षणयोर्वृक्कयोः कटिपृष्ठयोः ॥ १५ ॥

Pain in the abdomen, flanks, and shoulders, along with a gurgling noise (aatopa) in the abdomen, appear if the abscess is in the upper abdomen (kukshi); stiffness of the thighs (sakthnoh-graho) occurs if it is in the groins (vankshana);
