In that system, there is one vessel with a strong structure; among them, there is one net-holding vessel, and three internal ones—two are called Urdhvī, and one is called Lohitākṣa, which are uninjured. This includes branches of sixteen vessels. Among the thirty-two hollows, there are eight surgical treatments: two each in the two branches, in the waist, and the young ones; eight in each side; and for those who travel upward, there are two on each side at the joint; twenty-five on the back, for those who travel upward from both sides; in the abdomen, two on each side are observed near the pelvic region; forty on the chest, where there are fourteen surgical treatments: two in the heart, two at the base of the breast, and eight at the edges of the breast; thus, there are thirty surgical treatments found on the back and abdomen. The sixty vessels are above the joints; there, in the upper part, there are fifty-three vessels, of which eight are known as Marmas. In the neck, sixteen are uninjured; for the sides, there are eight on each side; thus, there are two each for the joints. In the tongue, there are sixteen surgical treatments found below, two in the blood vessels, and two in the vocal vessels; in the two nostrils, there are four to be accounted for, and one in the throat; thus, in both eyes, one is to be counted for each of the outer corners; for the ears, one is to be counted for the sound-conducting vessels; and in the nostrils and eyes, there are sixty; in the hairline, four are to be counted; in the whirl, one, and one in the foundation; in the conchs, there are ten, one for each joint of the conch; in the twelve upper parts, two for the elevations are to be counted, and one at the hairline; thus, these are the treatments of the fifty-three vessels above.
