शाखासु षोडश सिराः कोष्ठे द्वात्रिंशदेव तु । पञ्चाशज्जत्रुणश्चोर्ध्वमव्यध्याः परिकीर्तिताः ॥२१॥
In the branches, there are sixteen vessels, while in the cavities, there are thirty-two; and in the upper regions, there are fifty-three that are known to be uninjured.

शाखाओं में सोलह सिराएँ होती हैं, जबकि गुहाओं में बत्तीस; और ऊर्ध्व क्षेत्र में पचपन सिराएँ होती हैं, जिन्हें अप्रत्यक्ष कहा जाता है।
