चञ्चुमालकयुक्तानि वैकृत्यकरणानि च । सङ्क्षिप्तानि सशोफानि विद्यात्तत् सर्पितं भिषक् ॥१६॥
The ones that are equipped with a coiled tongue and have peculiar movements, when they appear shortened and swollen, are known to be snakebites, as understood by the knowledgeable physician.
