स्रक्षु वस्त्रेषु शय्यासु कवचाभरणेषु च | पादुकापादपीठेषु पृष्ठेषु गजवाजिनाम् ||२६||

Those who consume food offerings placed by the king, which are contaminated with poison, will perish right there, being destroyed by insects, flies, and birds.

The one who consumes such food, which has been offered in the fire, suffers greatly, experiencing severe pain, and becomes unbearable, resembling the throat of a peacock.

The broken offering, along with sharp smoke, does not calm down quickly. However, the person who consumes it soon develops a longing similar to that of a chakora bird, desiring the moon's rays.
