दृष्ट्वाऽन्नं विषसंसृष्टं म्रियन्ते जीवजीवकाः | कोकिलः स्वरवैकृत्यं क्रौञ्चस्तु मदमृच्छति ||३१||

Upon seeing food mixed with poison, the creatures, who are dependent on life, die. The cuckoo experiences a distortion in its voice, while the crane becomes intoxicated.

विष मिला हुआ भोजन देखकर जीवन पर आश्रित प्राणी मर जाते हैं। कोयल की आवाज में विकृति आ जाती है, जबकि सारस मदमस्त हो जाता है।

The peacock becomes joyous, the parrot and mynah are agitated by the cry, the swan loudly screeches in excess, and the king of bees buzzes loudly.

मोर हर्षित हो जाता है, तोता और मैना रोने से उत्तेजित हो जाते हैं, हंस जोर-जोर से चिल्लाने लगता है और मधुमक्खियों का राजा जोर-जोर से भिनभिनाने लगता है।

The food, which has been contaminated, should always be placed in a place for the protection of one's own house, adorned for the purpose of safeguarding it. When the food is polluted, it should be washed with water that is poured from above.

जो भोजन दूषित हो गया है, उसे सदैव अपने घर की सुरक्षा के उद्देश्य से सजाकर, सुरक्षित स्थान पर रखना चाहिए। भोजन प्रदूषित होने पर उसे ऊपर से डाले गए पानी से धोना चाहिए।

When there is heartache, confusion of the eyes, and headache, at that point, the application of black collyrium, ointments like Kushta, Laja, Nalada, and honey should be used.

जब दिल में दर्द हो, आंखों में भ्रम हो और सिर में दर्द हो तो उस समय काली कलौंजी का लेप, कुष्ठ, लाजा, नालद आदि मलहम और शहद का प्रयोग करना चाहिए।
