प्रकीर्णकेशं ध्वस्ताक्षं रभसा दष्टदच्छदम् । रजःकुण्ठमुखाम्भोजं छिन्नायुधभुजं मृधे ।। ७-२-३० ।।

When he died he had wanted to show his prowess, and thus he had bitten his lips, and his teeth remained in that position. His beautiful lotuslike face was now black and covered with dust from the battlefield. His arms, with his sword and other weapons, were cut and broken. ।। 7-2-30 ।।

english translation

उसने मरते समय अपना शौर्य दिखाना चाहा, अतएव उसके होंठ दाँतों से भिंच गये थे और दाँत उस स्थिति में थे। उसका कमल सदृश सुन्दर मुख अब काला पड़ गया था और युद्धभूमि की धूल से भरा था। तलवार तथा अन्य हथियारों से युक्त उसकी भुजाएं कटकर टूट चुकीथी। ।। ७-२-३० ।।
