भावाद्वैतं क्रियाद्वैतं द्रव्याद्वैतं तथाऽऽत्मनः । वर्तयन् स्वानुभूत्येह त्रीन् स्वप्नान् धुनुते मुनिः ।। ७-१५-६२ ‌।।

sanskrit

When a substance and its parts are separated, the acceptance of similarity between one and the other is called illusion. While dreaming, one creates a separation between the existences called wakefulness and sleep. It is in such a state of mind that the regulative principles of the scriptures, consisting of injunctions and prohibitions, are recommended. ।। 7-15-62 ‌।।

english translation

भाव, क्रिया तथा द्रव्य की अद्वैतता (एकत्व) पर विचार करने के बाद तथा आत्मा को समस्त कार्य-कारणों से पृथक् मानते हुए मुनि अपनी ही अनुभूति से जाग्रत, स्वप्न तथा सुषुप्ति इन तीन अवस्थाओं को त्याग देता है। ।। ७-१५-६२ ।।
