नाहं निन्दे न च स्तौमि स्वभावविषमं जनम् । एतेषां श्रेय आशासे उतैकात्म्यं महात्मनि ।। ७-१३-४२ ।।
Different people are of different mentalities. Therefore it is not my business either to praise them or to blaspheme them. I only desire their welfare, hoping that they will agree to become one with the Supersoul, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa. ।। 7-13-42 ।।
english translation
विभिन्न लोग विभिन्न स्वभाव के होते हैं; अतएव उनकी प्रशंसा करना या उनकी निन्दा करना मेरा कार्य नहीं है। मैं तो इस आशा से उनके कल्याण की कामना करता हूँ कि वे परमात्मा, भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण के साथ एकात्मता स्वीकार करेंगे। ।। ७-१३-४२ ।।
