सुखमस्यात्मनो रूपं सर्वेहोपरतिस्तनुः । मनःसंस्पर्शजान् दृष्ट्वा भोगान् स्वप्स्यामि संविशन् ।। ७-१३-२६ ।।

sanskrit

The actual form of life for the living entities is one of spiritual happiness, which is real happiness. This happiness can be achieved only when one stops all materialistic activities. Material sense enjoyment is simply an imagination. Therefore, considering this subject matter, I have ceased from all material activities and am lying down here. ।। 7-13-26 ।।

english translation

जीवों के लिए जीवन का वास्तविक स्वरूप आध्यात्मिक सुख का है और यही असली सुख है। यह सुख तभी प्राप्त किया जा सकता है जब मनुष्य सारे भौतिकतावादी कार्यकलापों को बन्द कर दे। भौतिक इन्द्रियभोग कोरी कल्पना है, अतएव इस विषय पर विचार कर मैंने सारे भौतिक कार्यकलाप बन्द कर दिये हैं और अब यहाँ लेटा हुआ हूँ। ।। ७-१३-२६ ।।
